The Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto brings creative energy to modern information science. It has been operating since 2008 and offers two higher education, a university bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral study programme in computer science and informatics in contemporary society, which are attended by approximately 250 students a year.

The faculty has its own Institute for Innovation in Technology in Regional Development and a Laboratory for Systems and Decision Support. We have also established Laboratory for Data Technologies, whose main goal is to promote and conduct basic and applied research in the wider field of data technologies. We cooperate with national and local companies and connect with other organizations in the field of informatics in the region.
