Senate FIŠ is the Faculty’s professional body. The Faculty Senate shall have at least 9 members from among the members of the Academic Assembly, who are holders or co-suppliers of at least one of the subjects taught, so that all the scientific disciplines and fields of expertise of the Faculty are equally represented. The members of the Senate shall also include three student representatives elected by the Student Council of the Faculty. The Dean and the Vice-Deans of the Faculty shall be ex officio members of the Faculty Senate.

In 2017, FIŠ established the FIŠ Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (TTO FIŠ), which ensures that it is able to respond to the demand from industry for knowledge in the research areas covered by FIŠ. The FIŠ TTO thus supports its students and researchers in developing new ideas that can lead to innovations that can be offered to the economy and lead to collaboration between the two spheres.

The core services of the FIŠ TTO for researchers and students are:

• technical and legal assistance related to inventions,
• carrying out procedures for the acquisition, acquisition and maintenance of intellectual property rights for service inventions,
• advising on business plans for innovation,
• management of intellectual property rights and transfer of inventions to the economy,
• training in the commercialisation of knowledge and the protection of intellectual property,
• networking with companies interested in knowledge and technology transfer,
• networking with other research organisations and external consultants,
• promoting scientific research at FIŠ and the transfer of knowledge into practice.
