As part of the operation “TESTING THE SYSTEM TO SUPPORT INTERNATIONALISATION AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER” within the public call “Mobility of Slovenian Higher Education Teachers 2018-2021”, which was extended until 30 June 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Biljana Mileva Boshkoska completed her three-month guest lectureship at the Pennsylvania State University in the USA on 30 June 2023.

During her mobility, she was involved in teaching four courses at the host institution, made a public presentation of the Slovenian higher education area and the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto, and took part in many other activities related to strengthening the international engagement of our faculty and the internationalisation of the Slovenian higher education environment. She was involved in ongoing research work and participated in the development of new joint projects, while establishing new research links that will significantly contribute to the quality of research publications and, consequently, research outputs.

The operation is funded under the Public Tender Mobility of Slovenian Higher Education Teachers 2018-2021, under Priority Axis 10: Knowledge, Skills and Lifelong Learning for Better Employability; Priority Investment 10. 1 Improving equal access to lifelong learning for all age groups in formal, non-formal and informal learning, updating the knowledge, skills and competences of the workforce and promoting flexible forms of learning, including through career guidance and validation of acquired competences, specific objective: 10.1.3 Promoting flexible forms of learning and supporting quality career guidance for young people in education at all levels of the education system. The operation is co-financed up to a maximum of € 73.204 by the Republic of Slovenia – MIZŠ or MVZI (20 %) and the European Union (80 %) from the European Social Fund (http://www.eu-skladi.si/).
