On Monday, 24 March 2025, the 33rd constitutive session of the FIŠ Academic Assembly took place at our faculty. The event was held in a hybrid format – in the Alfa Lecture Hall and via Zoom, which allowed for a broad participation, with a total of 66 Assembly members in attendance.
During the session, we elected the new President of the Academic Assembly, Prof. Dr. Biljana Mileva Boshkoska, and the Vice-President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Blaž Rodič, and approved the proposed agenda. We reviewed the self-evaluation report for 2024 and discussed further possibilities for the internationalisation of studies. We also presented new developments in the library databases and highlighted the challenges of integrating part-time staff into the faculty operations. Other highlights included a discussion on how to improve the promotion of international mobility through Erasmus+ and the presentation of the new Criteria for the Appointment to the Titles of Higher Education Teachers, Researchers and Associates.
The session was held in a constructive atmosphere and the participants adopted important resolutions for the future operations of the faculty.
